TMC-7200 Engineered Fluid is an ethyl nonafluoroisobutyl ether (C₅H₅F₉O), is a precisely defined hydrofluoroether (HFE) solvent containing BOTH structural isomers. It serves as a direct, isomeric drop-in replacement for 3M™ Novec™ 7200, delivering full molecular equivalence. Unlike other suppliers that offer only a single isomer, TMC-7200 ensures BOTH isomers with complete compatibility and optimal performance across critical applications.
The low surface tension and low viscosity of TMC-7200 fluid make it ideal for use in vapor degreasing, and cold cleaning applications. In addition, its chemical and thermal stability, non flammability, and low toxicity make it useful for other industrial applications such as specialty solvent and heat transfer applications. TMC-7200 fluid has a higher boiling point than most CFCs, HCFCs, and HFCs, reducing evaporative losses.
